This Sunday’s worship service (1/17) will look very different. We will be offering the service of our hearts, hands, and possibly our sweat glands, in worship of God. We will gather in the sanctuary during our usual worship time (10:30am) and share in a song, a reading and a prayer, then we will break out into service project groups. We will make meals and muffins for STL Winter Outreach, Cards for Card Care Connect, Clean-up in the neighborhood, sort bulk crayons for BRO to share with local youth, draw Valentine’s pictures for extended members and other local organizations, and so much more! Come and join us for this special worship service. Oh, and as we are working, cooking, cleaning, crafting and serving, we’ll be sure to keep our congregation, our neighborhood, and our community in our prayers. We do all this to the glory of God’s holy name!
“Everybody can be great…because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” –Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
