Fall Christian Education

We are well into fall and well into our classes here at Oak Hill, but we are always inviting new folks to join in the conversation.

Sundays at 9:30 a.m. – Christian Education for All Ages
The Adult Sunday School class meets in the Theleos Room on the lower level. We are currently working through a Sparkhouse study on Spiritual Practices, facilitated by Pastor Erin. In November we’ll begin a new series digging deeper into the Reformation, in celebration of #Reformation500, with Pastor Korla.
The Childrens’ Sunday School class meets in the Children’s Church Room and is spending this year learning through the lectionary, with a curriculum from Feasting on the Word. Lisa Thompson and Sara Gibson lead this class.

Wednedays at 11:00 a.m. – Wednesday Bible Study
The Wednesday Bible Study Class is reading Dr. John Goldingay’s 1&2 Kings for Everyone. Pastor Erin then leads the discussion as we work through the entire books of 1st and 2nd Kings.

Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. – Thursday Night Bible Study
Pastor Korla is teaching a class on the Canonization of the Bible. Join us as we look at how the books in the bible were collected and edited and shifted and compiled.

We are also starting up a Youth Confirmation Class and have two different book clubs meeting monthly. There is something for everyone at Oak Hill!
