Blessing of the Animals
Tell your puppy, warn your cat, let all the little critters know! We will have a special worship service on Sunday, October 10th at 2pm outside on the front porch to bless all our animals. You bring the creature, we’ll share a blessing and a treat. Hope to see you there!

Rally Day – Sept 12
Come one, come all, bring your friends and invite your neighbors. (Well, with masks and distancing, of course.)
We will gather for outdoor worship, games, snacks and fun to celebrate Rally Day on Sept. 12th at 10:30 a.m.
We will share in worship outside (weather permitting). We invite you to bring your own lunch. We will provide drinks and chips. Then stay after worship for games and all kinds of silliness outside.
You can download the worship bulletin here.
We hope to see you there!
Funeral Service for Peggy Barrow – June 19
A Service of Witness to the Resurrection and a celebration of the life of Peggy Barrow will be on Saturday June 19th at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary at church.
Please remember to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
The family will receive visitors from 9:30-10:15 am, and there will be time for a bit of fellowship on the front lawn following the service.
The Session has approved this in-person gathering as an exception to our current COVID policy. We will also share the service on Zoom if you’d prefer to participate that way.
Zoom Meeting ID: 830 0884 1850. No password necessary.
Here is the link for Peggy’s obituary. Please do continue to keep the entire Barrow family in your prayers.
Outdoor Worship- Again!
Join us for worship in-person, outside this Sunday, June 13th at 10:30 a.m.!
Bring your own camp chair, and bring a mask, too. We’ll gather on the front steps and front lawn of the church. We’ll have worship with some fun music, cold waters, and we’ll see about providing a little more shade this week.
Feel free to bring your own lunch and stay after to visit and snack outside.
Of course, if you’d prefer to join us online, we will be sharing the service via Zoom, so you can participate that way, too. You can find the Zoom log-in info and a bulletin to download (posted on Friday 6/11) by clicking here.
*In case of rain, we’ll all be on Zoom.
There will be no Sunday School this week.
Ash Wednesday
We will be continuing our tradition of joining with our friends at Compton Heights Christian Church for Ash Wednesday worship. It will look a little different this year, though, as we will join together for worship on Zoom. We will have the imposition of ashes and at-home communion. Madison Peterson, the student pastor at Compton Heights Christian Church, has made the video below with some ways you can make ashes at home. Oh, and don’t forget to prepare your bread and drink for communion, too!
Then join us for worship on Wednesday 2/17 at 6:30 p.m. as we start the season of Lent with this special worship service. Please use Meeting ID 768 992 383.
