Youth Christmas Program

peace kids

All are invited to join us for worship this Sunday, the fourth Sunday of Advent, as the children and youth of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church will lead us in worship with this year’s Christmas Program, an original work from Darrell Yearwood called, Let There Be Peace on Earth.

Then stay after worship for the Presbyterian Women’s cookie and craft sale.

And don’t forget to come back at 3:30pm for caroling in the neighborhood. Merry Christmas!

Blue Christmas: A service of remembrance and healing

The holiday season is hard on those of us who are lonely, hurting or mourning.
You’re not alone.

Join us on Thursday night 12/11 at 7pm for a different kind of worship service.

We will sing and pray and read scripture and lament.
It’s okay to be sad here. It’s okay to be angry here. It’s okay to remember here. It’s okay to be exactly as you are.

Update: For those who were unable to attend tonight’s service, the worship bulletin can be viewed here, or you can pick on up in the back of the sanctuary on Sunday.

Puppet Show Saturday!

Come, bring your neighbors, bring your kids, bring your neighbor’s kids (well, if you have permission) for a puppet show at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church featuring Bob Kramer’s Marionnettes! Saturday, Nov. 8th at 3pm.

Bob and Doug have been making puppets and entertaining the public for 50 years.  They will bring their musical revue for our pleasure.  We have distributed free admission tickets via Halloween treat bags to reach out to the neighborhood, but all are welcome, even if you don’t have a ticket!

See you there!

World Communion Sunday

Please join us for worship this week (10/5) for World Communion Sunday.

We will celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper with our sisters and brothers around the world, receive the Peace & Global Witness Offering, and consider again what it means to live in relationship with God and these distant family members across the globe.
