Worship
Worship at Oak Hill is a time for reflection, wonder, praise and celebration. Worship is the opportunity for the community of faith to thank God for the gifts we have received and to give back to God our gratitude for the Spirit’s presence in our lives.
Sunday worship begins at 10:30 a.m. Throughout the year, Oak Hill holds special worship services including:
- Christmas Eve
- Ash Wednesday
- Maundy Thursday
- Youth Sunday
Music is an important part of our worship time. The Oak Hill choir leads our voices each week in song. And throughout the year our Bell Choir, individual soloists and Children’s Choir share their gifts of music with the congregation.
Children play an active role in worship. Each Sunday they join Pastor Chris for the “Time for Young Disciples” and throughout the year the children sing anthems, play bells and perform liturgical dramas and musicals in worship.
