We are called to serve God and our neighbors. We take that call seriously. We offer our time, our talents, our resources, and our action in service of God’s love in our community and the world.
Local Mission
At worship each week we collect food for our neighborhood food pantry, Isaiah 58 Ministries. We work for justice by organizing, marching and advocating for dignity for all in our community with Metropolitan Congregations United. We partner with Winter Outreach, to provide food, warmth, shelter, and community to our unhoused neighbors. We have pop-up mission projects and ongoing relationships with local non-profits, schools, and community groups. We also share space in our building for groups to meet, including counseling services, AA meetings, the neighborhood association, block captains, mom’s clubs and so many more.
Mission Trips
Join us on one of our yearly mission trips. Our most recent trip was to The Center, in Baltimore, MD, as part of the PC(USA)’s Hands and Feet Initiative. Past youth and inter-generational trips have visited urban locations like Chicago, Atlanta, San Antonio and Denver, as well as rural West Virginia, Arkansas, and Kentucky, and disaster impacted areas like Gulfport, MS.
AMEN St. Louis
Mission teams from around the country are invited to stay here at Oak Hill in our recently renovated AMEN|Saint Louis house for a week of learning and service. Read more about that ministry and the groups who come to learn and serve with us at www.amenstlouis.org.
