Rev. Erin Counihan

Rev. Erin CounihanWelcome to Rev. Erin Counihan, Oak Hill’s new pastor. Erin received her Master of Divinity Degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in May 2014. She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA in Politics and Government. Erin found her call to ministry through work in social services and disaster response — working with public assistance programs in Colorado, serving with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance on the Gulf Coast and with the American Red Cross in Chicago.

During her time at Princeton, Erin served as Intern for Missional Engagement at The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, NJ, Church Planting Intern with the PCUSA 1001 New Worshiping Communities, and as student chaplain for Pediatrics and Women’s Services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. On campus she was the moderator of the Women’s Center, a member of the Seminary Council for Institutional Diversity , a participant and research assistant for the Liturgy and Public Witness cohort and a singer in the Gospel Ensemble.

Rev. Counihan’s first Sunday at Oak Hill will be July 27, 2014. Worship begins at 11 AM.
