Join us for Rally Day, the kick-off to our new Sunday School year!
Sunday, Sept. 10th
In worship you’ll meet our Sunday School teachers and hear a little about our plans for the year. Then we’ll have a big church potluck on the front lawn to celebrate. We’ll have food, games, and crafts for all! Bring a friend, bring a neighbor, bring a dish to share… or just show up and join the fun!
We all want to help our neighbors down in Texas who are dealing with this horrific storm. Right now, the absolute best way to help is to donate money. As the months and years go by, there will be additional needs and ways to help. Right now, this is the best way we know how to send God’s love to so many hurting people. The church is sending a financial donation to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. We encourage members and visitors and neighbors and friends to do so as well. Here is the link to donate online. Please keep all residents, animals, first responders, care providers, volunteers, disaster response agencies, and government leaders in your prayers. This is going to be a long response.
Join us this Friday for Open Gym night at 6:30 and stay for our Outdoor Movie at 8pm.
Bring a friend! Bring a chair! We’ll provide the snacks, games, and fun!
We’d planned to show Back to the Future earlier this summer, but were rained out! So this time, the fun is ON!
See you Friday!
The horrific happenings in Charlottesville are on our hearts and minds and all over our newsfeeds and screens.
Please remain in prayer. Please speak up. Please listen deeply. Please continue to seek justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God.
